“Among weapons, I am the thunderbolt; among cows, I am the wish-fulfilling Kamadhenu; I am Kandarpa, the cause of offspring; among serpents, I am Vasuki.”
Sanskrit
आयुधानामहं वज्रं धेनूनामस्मि कामधुक् | प्रजनश्चास्मि कन्दर्पः सर्पाणामस्मि वासुकिः ||
Transliteration
āyudhānām ahaṁ vajraṁ dhenūnām asmi kāma-dhuk prajanaś cāsmi kandarpaḥ sarpāṇām asmi vāsukiḥ
Commentary
Thunderbolt among weapons, Kamadhenu among cows, Cupid (procreative power) among causes of offspring, Vasuki among serpents—each represents divine excellence.
