“The seven great sages, the four ancient ones before them, and the Manus are born of My mind and possess My nature. From them have come all the creatures of this world.”

महर्षयः सप्त पूर्वे चत्वारो मनवस्तथा | मद्भावा मानसा जाता येषां लोक इमाः प्रजाः ||
Transliteration
maharṣayaḥ sapta pūrve catvāro manavas tathā mad-bhāvā mānasā jātā yeṣāṁ loka imāḥ prajāḥ
Commentary
The great progenitors of humanity—sages and Manus—originated from Krishna's mind. All beings trace their lineage back to these divine creations.
