11:1
“Arjuna said: By the supremely confidential words concerning the Self that You have spoken out of compassion for me, my delusion is now dispelled.”
Sanskrit
अर्जुन उवाच | मदनुग्रहाय परमं गुह्यमध्यात्मसंज्ञितम् | यत्त्वयोक्तं वचस्तेन मोहोऽयं विगतो मम ||
Transliteration
arjuna uvāca mad-anugrahāya paramaṁ guhyam adhyātma-saṁjñitam yat tvayoktaṁ vacas tena moho 'yaṁ vigato mama
Commentary
Arjuna acknowledges that Krishna's teachings have removed his confusion. The secret knowledge of the Self, given out of compassion, has cleared his understanding.
