“Drona, Bhishma, Jayadratha, Karna, and other brave warriors have already been killed by Me. Kill them without distress. Just fight, and you will conquer your enemies in battle.”

द्रोणं च भीष्मं च जयद्रथं च कर्णं तथान्यानपि योधवीरान् | मया हतांस्त्वं जहि मा व्यथिष्ठा युध्यस्व जेतासि रणे सपत्नान् ||
Transliteration
droṇaṁ ca bhīṣmaṁ ca jayadrathaṁ ca karṇaṁ tathānyān api yodha-vīrān mayā hatāṁs tvaṁ jahi mā vyathiṣṭhā yudhyasva jetāsi raṇe sapatnān
Commentary
The great warriors are already destroyed by Time. Arjuna should not hesitate—he is merely the visible agent of what has already occurred. Victory is assured.
