“Established in Brahman, serene in self, one neither grieves nor desires. Equal toward all beings, one attains supreme devotion to Me.”
Sanskrit
ब्रह्मभूतः प्रसन्नात्मा न शोचति न काङ्क्षति | समः सर्वेषु भूतेषु मद्भक्तिं लभते पराम् ||
Transliteration
brahma-bhūtaḥ prasannātmā na śocati na kāṅkṣati samaḥ sarveṣu bhūteṣu mad-bhaktiṁ labhate parām
Commentary
Self-realization brings joyful serenity free from sorrow and craving. This equanimity toward all beings naturally blossoms into the highest devotion—the ultimate goal.
