Transliteration

karmaṇy evādhikāras te mā phaleṣu kadācana mā karma-phala-hetur bhūr mā te saṅgo 'stv akarmaṇi

Commentary

This is one of the most famous verses of the Gita. It teaches the art of detached action - performing one's duty with full dedication while surrendering attachment to results. This wisdom prevents both anxiety about outcomes and the paralysis of inaction.
