“My intelligence is bewildered by Your equivocal instructions. Tell me clearly which one path will lead to my highest good.”
Sanskrit
व्यामिश्रेणेव वाक्येन बुद्धिं मोहयसीव मे | तदेकं वद निश्चित्य येन श्रेयोऽहमाप्नुयाम् ||
Transliteration
vyāmiśreṇeva vākyena buddhiṁ mohayasīva me tad ekaṁ vada niścitya yena śreyo 'ham āpnuyām
Commentary
Arjuna wants a simple, clear answer. He perceives contradiction in Krishna's teaching about both knowledge and action. This confusion is common at the beginning of spiritual understanding.
