4:10
“Being freed from attachment, fear, and anger, fully absorbed in Me, taking refuge in Me, many have become purified by the austerity of knowledge and have thus attained My nature.”
Sanskrit
वीतरागभयक्रोधा मन्मया मामुपाश्रिताः | बहवो ज्ञानतपसा पूता मद्भावमागताः ||
Transliteration
vīta-rāga-bhaya-krodhā man-mayā mām upāśritāḥ bahavo jñāna-tapasā pūtā mad-bhāvam āgatāḥ
Commentary
Many have achieved liberation through purification. By abandoning attachment, fear, and anger, absorbed in God and purified by wisdom, they attain divine nature.
