“Although I am unborn and imperishable, although I am the Lord of all beings, I manifest Myself through My own divine energy, keeping My nature under control.”
Sanskrit
अजोऽपि सन्नव्ययात्मा भूतानामीश्वरोऽपि सन् | प्रकृतिं स्वामधिष्ठाय सम्भवाम्यात्ममायया ||
Transliteration
ajo 'pi sann avyayātmā bhūtānām īśvaro 'pi san prakṛtiṁ svām adhiṣṭhāya sambhavāmy ātma-māyayā
Commentary
God's birth is different from ours. Though unborn and eternal, He appears by His own will through divine power. He is not forced to take birth like ordinary souls bound by karma.
