“...with senses, mind, and intelligence controlled, the sage who is devoted to liberation, free from desire, fear, and anger - such a person is forever liberated.”
Sanskrit
यतेन्द्रियमनोबुद्धिर्मुनिर्मोक्षपरायणः | विगतेच्छाभयक्रोधो यः सदा मुक्त एव सः ||
Transliteration
yatendriya-mano-buddhir munir mokṣa-parāyaṇaḥ vigatecchā-bhaya-krodho yaḥ sadā mukta eva saḥ
Commentary
The sage who controls senses, mind, and intellect, whose sole goal is liberation, and who is free from desire, fear, and anger - such a one is always free, even while living.
