Chapter 7: Knowledge & Wisdomज्ञानविज्ञानयोग
7:1
“The Supreme Lord said: O Partha, hear how by practicing yoga with mind attached to Me, taking refuge in Me, you shall know Me completely, without doubt.”
Sanskrit
श्रीभगवानुवाच | मय्यासक्तमनाः पार्थ योगं युञ्जन्मदाश्रयः | असंशयं समग्रं मां यथा ज्ञास्यसि तच्छृणु ||
Transliteration
śrī-bhagavān uvāca mayy āsakta-manāḥ pārtha yogaṁ yuñjan mad-āśrayaḥ asaṁśayaṁ samagraṁ māṁ yathā jñāsyasi tac chṛṇu
Commentary
Krishna introduces the chapter on complete knowledge. He promises that through devoted practice and taking shelter in Him, Arjuna will attain complete, doubt-free knowledge of the Divine.
