“Those who know that the day of Brahma lasts a thousand ages and that his night also lasts a thousand ages are the knowers of day and night.”

सहस्रयुगपर्यन्तमहर्यद्ब्रह्मणो विदुः | रात्रिं युगसहस्रान्तां तेऽहोरात्रविदो जनाः ||
Transliteration
sahasra-yuga-paryantam ahar yad brahmaṇo viduḥ rātriṁ yuga-sahasrāntāṁ te 'ho-rātra-vido janāḥ
Commentary
Cosmic time operates on a vast scale. Brahma's day spans a thousand yugas (4.32 billion years), as does his night. Understanding these cycles reveals the immensity of material creation.
