“All of you must now give full support to Grandfather Bhishma, standing at your respective strategic points in the military formation.”

अयनेषु च सर्वेषु यथाभागमवस्थिताः | भीष्ममेवाभिरक्षन्तु भवन्तः सर्व एव हि ||
Transliteration
ayaneṣu ca sarveṣu yathā-bhāgam avasthitāḥ bhīṣmam evābhirakṣantu bhavantaḥ sarva eva hi
Commentary
Duryodhana instructs his commanders to protect Bhishma at all costs. This reveals his understanding that Bhishma is the keystone of their military strategy.
