“One who does work for Me, who regards Me as the supreme goal, who is devoted to Me, free from attachment, and without enmity toward any being—such a one comes to Me, O Pandava.”
Sanskrit
मत्कर्मकृन्मत्परमो मद्भक्तः सङ्गवर्जितः | निर्वैरः सर्वभूतेषु यः स मामेति पाण्डव ||
Transliteration
mat-karma-kṛn mat-paramo mad-bhaktaḥ saṅga-varjitaḥ nirvairaḥ sarva-bhūteṣu yaḥ sa mām eti pāṇḍava
Commentary
The chapter's concluding verse summarizes the path: work for Krishna, make Him the supreme goal, be devoted, be detached, harbor no hatred. Such a devotee reaches the Lord.
