“One who has no expectations, who is pure, skilled, unconcerned, free from distress, and who renounces all undertakings—that devotee of Mine is dear to Me.”
Sanskrit
अनपेक्षः शुचिर्दक्ष उदासीनो गतव्यथः | सर्वारम्भपरित्यागी यो मद्भक्तः स मे प्रियः ||
Transliteration
anapekṣaḥ śucir dakṣa udāsīno gata-vyathaḥ sarvārambha-parityāgī yo mad-bhaktaḥ sa me priyaḥ
Commentary
More qualities of the dear devotee: free from expectations, pure, competent, impartial, untroubled, and not initiating selfish projects. Such a person is precious to Krishna.
