“Undivided, yet appearing divided among beings; to be known as the sustainer of beings, and also their devourer and creator.”
Sanskrit
अविभक्तं च भूतेषु विभक्तमिव च स्थितम् | भूतभर्तृ च तज्ज्ञेयं ग्रसिष्णु प्रभविष्णु च ||
Transliteration
avibhaktaṁ ca bhūteṣu vibhaktam iva ca sthitam bhūta-bhartṛ ca taj jñeyaṁ grasiṣṇu prabhaviṣṇu ca
Commentary
Though one and indivisible, Brahman appears as many in different beings. It sustains all existence, yet also dissolves it at dissolution and creates it again. It is the cycle of all existence.
