“The great elements, ego, intellect, the unmanifest, the ten senses, the mind, and the five sense objects—”
Sanskrit
महाभूतान्यहङ्कारो बुद्धिरव्यक्तमेव च | इन्द्रियाणि दशैकं च पञ्च चेन्द्रियगोचराः ||
Transliteration
mahā-bhūtāny ahaṅkāro buddhir avyaktam eva ca indriyāṇi daśaikaṁ ca pañca cendriya-gocarāḥ
Commentary
This verse begins enumerating the components of the field: the five great elements (earth, water, fire, air, ether), ego, intellect, unmanifest nature, ten sense organs, mind, and five sense objects.
