15:5
“Free from pride and delusion, having conquered the evil of attachment, ever devoted to the Self, with desires turned away, liberated from the dualities of pleasure and pain—the undeluded reach that imperishable goal.”
Sanskrit
निर्मानमोहा जितसङ्गदोषा अध्यात्मनित्या विनिवृत्तकामाः | द्वन्द्वैर्विमुक्ताः सुखदुःखसंज्ञैर्गच्छन्त्यमूढाः पदमव्ययं तत् ||
Transliteration
nirmāna-mohā jita-saṅga-doṣā adhyātma-nityā vinivṛtta-kāmāḥ dvandvair vimuktāḥ sukha-duḥkha-saṁjñair gacchanty amūḍhāḥ padam avyayaṁ tat
Commentary
Those who attain the supreme abode are free from ego and illusion, have overcome attachment, remain focused on the Self, have transcended desires, and are beyond the pairs of opposites.
