“The doer who is free from attachment, non-egoistic, endowed with resolve and enthusiasm, unchanged by success or failure—that doer is called sattvic.”

मुक्तसङ्गोऽनहंवादी धृत्युत्साहसमन्वितः | सिद्ध्यसिद्ध्योर्निर्विकारः कर्ता सात्त्विक उच्यते ||
Transliteration
mukta-saṅgo 'nahaṁ-vādī dhṛty-utsāha-samanvitaḥ siddhya-siddhyor nirvikāraḥ kartā sāttvika ucyate
Commentary
The sattvic doer is unattached, free from ego, steady and enthusiastic, and unmoved by outcomes. Such a person acts with full engagement yet complete equanimity.
