Chapter 2: Transcendental Knowledgeसांख्ययोग
2:52
“When your intelligence has passed out of the dense forest of delusion, you shall become indifferent to all that has been heard and all that is to be heard.”
Sanskrit
यदा ते मोहकलिलं बुद्धिर्व्यतितरिष्यति | तदा गन्तासि निर्वेदं श्रोतव्यस्य श्रुतस्य च ||
Transliteration
yadā te moha-kalilaṁ buddhir vyatitariṣyati tadā gantāsi nirvedaṁ śrotavyasya śrutasya ca
Commentary
When delusion is transcended, one naturally loses interest in worldly knowledge and rituals. The realized person becomes dispassionate toward both past learnings and future scriptures - direct experience surpasses all.
