“But a person free from all attachment and aversion and able to control the senses through regulated principles of freedom can obtain the complete mercy of the Lord.”
Sanskrit
रागद्वेषविमुक्तैस्तु विषयानिन्द्रियैश्चरन् | आत्मवश्यैर्विधेयात्मा प्रसादमधिगच्छति ||
Transliteration
rāga-dveṣa-vimuktais tu viṣayān indriyaiś caran ātma-vaśyair vidheyātmā prasādam adhigacchati
Commentary
Freedom from likes and dislikes allows one to interact with sense objects without bondage. Such a person, with controlled senses and mind, attains divine grace and inner peace.
