“Those deluded by the modes of nature become attached to the activities of the modes. But the wise should not disturb those slow people of lesser understanding.”
Sanskrit
प्रकृतेर्गुणसम्मूढाः सज्जन्ते गुणकर्मसु | तानकृत्स्नविदो मन्दान्कृत्स्नविन्न विचालयेत् ||
Transliteration
prakṛter guṇa-sammūḍhāḥ sajjante guṇa-karmasu tān akṛtsna-vido mandān kṛtsna-vin na vicālayet
Commentary
People identified with nature's modes remain attached to action. The wise, understanding their limited vision, should not confuse them with advanced teachings. Compassionate guidance respects each person's capacity.
