“Others who regulate their diet offer the life breath into the life breath. All these understand sacrifice, and by sacrifice their sins are destroyed.”
Sanskrit
अपरे नियताहाराः प्राणान्प्राणेषु जुह्वति | सर्वेऽप्येते यज्ञविदो यज्ञक्षपितकल्मषाः ||
Transliteration
apare niyatāhārāḥ prāṇān prāṇeṣu juhvati sarve 'py ete yajña-vido yajña-kṣapita-kalmaṣāḥ
Commentary
Even regulated eating becomes sacrifice. All these practitioners understand the principle of sacrifice, and through it their impurities are destroyed.
