“The Supreme does not accept anyone's sin or merit. Knowledge is covered by ignorance; thereby beings are deluded.”
Sanskrit
नादत्ते कस्यचित्पापं न चैव सुकृतं विभुः | अज्ञानेनावृतं ज्ञानं तेन मुह्यन्ति जन्तवः ||
Transliteration
nādatte kasyacit pāpaṁ na caiva sukṛtaṁ vibhuḥ ajñānenāvṛtaṁ jñānaṁ tena muhyanti jantavaḥ
Commentary
God doesn't take on our karma, good or bad. Beings are confused because ignorance covers their inherent wisdom. Removing this ignorance reveals our true nature.
