“...speaking, releasing, grasping, opening and closing the eyes - always knows that the senses are engaged with their objects and thinks, 'I do nothing at all.'”
Sanskrit
प्रलपन्विसृजन्गृह्णन्नुन्मिषन्निमिषन्नपि | इन्द्रियाणीन्द्रियार्थेषु वर्तन्त इति धारयन् ||
Transliteration
pralapan visṛjan gṛhṇann unmiṣan nimiṣann api indriyāṇīndriyārtheṣu vartanta iti dhārayan
Commentary
The wise person understands that all actions are merely the senses interacting with their objects. The Self remains the uninvolved witness. This knowledge is true freedom.
