“...serene-minded, fearless, firm in the vow of celibacy, controlling the mind, thinking of Me, absorbed in Me as the supreme goal.”
Sanskrit
प्रशान्तात्मा विगतभीर्ब्रह्मचारिव्रते स्थितः | मनः संयम्य मच्चित्तो युक्त आसीत मत्परः ||
Transliteration
praśāntātmā vigata-bhīr brahmacāri-vrate sthitaḥ manaḥ saṁyamya mac-citto yukta āsīta mat-paraḥ
Commentary
Mental qualities for meditation: peace, fearlessness, self-control, focus on the Divine. The meditator sits absorbed in God as the ultimate object of attention.
