“Holding the body, head, and neck erect and still, gazing at the tip of one's nose, not looking around...”
Sanskrit
समं कायशिरोग्रीवं धारयन्नचलं स्थिरः | सम्प्रेक्ष्य नासिकाग्रं स्वं दिशश्चानवलोकयन् ||
Transliteration
samaṁ kāya-śiro-grīvaṁ dhārayann acalaṁ sthiraḥ samprekṣya nāsikāgraṁ svaṁ diśaś cānavalokayan
Commentary
Physical posture for meditation: spine straight, body still, gaze fixed. Proper alignment of body supports alignment of mind.
