“The Supreme Lord said: O Partha, neither in this world nor the next is there destruction for such a person. One who does good, My dear friend, never comes to grief.”
Sanskrit
श्रीभगवानुवाच | पार्थ नैवेह नामुत्र विनाशस्तस्य विद्यते | न हि कल्याणकृत्कश्चिद्दुर्गतिं तात गच्छति ||
Transliteration
śrī-bhagavān uvāca pārtha naiveha nāmutra vināśas tasya vidyate na hi kalyāṇa-kṛt kaścid durgatiṁ tāta gacchati
Commentary
Krishna's reassuring answer: no spiritual effort is ever lost. One who strives for good never meets with misfortune. This is a fundamental spiritual law.
