“Besides this inferior nature, O mighty-armed one, there is a superior energy of Mine, the living entities, by which this material world is sustained.”
Sanskrit
अपरेयमितस्त्वन्यां प्रकृतिं विद्धि मे पराम् | जीवभूतां महाबाहो ययेदं धार्यते जगत् ||
Transliteration
apareyam itas tv anyāṁ prakṛtiṁ viddhi me parām jīva-bhūtāṁ mahā-bāho yayedaṁ dhāryate jagat
Commentary
Beyond material nature exists the superior spiritual nature—the living souls. Consciousness, not matter, is the higher reality. The world is sustained by conscious beings, not mere physical processes.
