9:12
“Those of vain hopes, vain actions, and vain knowledge, being bewildered, take shelter of the demonic and atheistic nature, which deludes them.”
Sanskrit
मोघाशा मोघकर्माणो मोघज्ञाना विचेतसः | राक्षसीमासुरीं चैव प्रकृतिं मोहिनीं श्रिताः ||
Transliteration
moghāśā mogha-karmāṇo mogha-jñānā vicetasaḥ rākṣasīm āsurīṁ caiva prakṛtiṁ mohinīṁ śritāḥ
Commentary
Those who disregard God waste their hopes, actions, and learning. Deluded by demonic nature, they remain confused about life's purpose and miss the path to liberation.
