“I am the only enjoyer and lord of all sacrifices. But they do not know Me in truth, and therefore they fall.”
Sanskrit
अहं हि सर्वयज्ञानां भोक्ता च प्रभुरेव च | न तु मामभिजानन्ति तत्त्वेनातश्च्यवन्ति ते ||
Transliteration
ahaṁ hi sarva-yajñānāṁ bhoktā ca prabhur eva ca na tu mām abhijānanti tattvenātaś cyavanti te
Commentary
Krishna is the true recipient and master of all worship. Those who fail to recognize this miss the point and fall from their spiritual path, even if they worship other deities.
