“Even if a person of very bad conduct worships Me with exclusive devotion, they are to be regarded as righteous, for they have rightly resolved.”
Sanskrit
अपि चेत्सुदुराचारो भजते मामनन्यभाक् | साधुरेव स मन्तव्यः सम्यग्व्यवसितो हि सः ||
Transliteration
api cet su-durācāro bhajate mām ananya-bhāk sādhur eva sa mantavyaḥ samyag vyavasito hi saḥ
Commentary
Exclusive devotion transforms even the worst sinner. The decision to surrender completely to God marks a righteous turning point. Past conduct becomes irrelevant when genuine devotion arises.
