“I am the gambling of cheats; I am the splendor of the splendid; I am victory, I am determination, and I am the goodness of the good.”
Sanskrit
द्यूतं छलयतामस्मि तेजस्तेजस्विनामहम् | जयोऽस्मि व्यवसायोऽस्मि सत्त्वं सत्त्ववतामहम् ||
Transliteration
dyūtaṁ chalayatām asmi tejas tejasvinām aham jayo 'smi vyavasāyo 'smi sattvaṁ sattvavatām aham
Commentary
Even gambling (as skill) among deceivers is a divine gift. Krishna is brilliance, victory, resolve, and the virtue in virtuous people.
