“If you are unable to do even this, then, taking refuge in My yoga, renounce the fruits of all actions with self-control.”
Sanskrit
अथैतदप्यशक्तोऽसि कर्तुं मद्योगमाश्रितः | सर्वकर्मफलत्यागं ततः कुरु यतात्मवान् ||
Transliteration
athaitad apy aśakto 'si kartuṁ mad-yogam āśritaḥ sarva-karma-phala-tyāgaṁ tataḥ kuru yatātmavān
Commentary
Even if you cannot work specifically for God, simply renounce attachment to results while practicing self-control. This gradual approach accommodates all capacities.
