“Striving yogis see this Self established in themselves. But the unrefined, whose minds are not prepared, do not see It even though striving.”
Sanskrit
यतन्तो योगिनश्चैनं पश्यन्त्यात्मन्यवस्थितम् | यतन्तोऽप्यकृतात्मानो नैनं पश्यन्त्यचेतसः ||
Transliteration
yatanto yoginaś cainaṁ paśyanty ātmany avasthitam yatanto 'py akṛtātmāno nainaṁ paśyanty acetasaḥ
Commentary
Dedicated yogis perceive the Self dwelling within. But those who haven't purified their minds cannot see the Self even with great effort—inner preparation is essential.
