“Entering the earth, I sustain all beings with My energy. Becoming the watery moon, I nourish all plants.”
Sanskrit
गामाविश्य च भूतानि धारयाम्यहमोजसा | पुष्णामि चौषधीः सर्वाः सोमो भूत्वा रसात्मकः ||
Transliteration
gām āviśya ca bhūtāni dhārayāmy aham ojasā puṣṇāmi cauṣadhīḥ sarvāḥ somo bhūtvā rasātmakaḥ
Commentary
Krishna pervades the earth, sustaining all creatures with divine energy. As the moon (source of nourishing essence), He provides sap to all vegetation. The divine sustains all life.
