“Torturing the bodily elements and also Me dwelling within the body—know these senseless ones to be of demonic resolve.”
Sanskrit
कर्शयन्तः शरीरस्थं भूतग्राममचेतसः | मां चैवान्तःशरीरस्थं तान्विद्ध्यासुरनिश्चयान् ||
Transliteration
karśayantaḥ śarīra-sthaṁ bhūta-grāmam acetasaḥ māṁ caivāntaḥ-śarīra-sthaṁ tān viddhy āsura-niścayān
Commentary
Those who torture the body also torture the Divine dwelling within. Such extreme, ego-driven practices reflect demonic determination rather than genuine spirituality.
