“O son of Kunti, at the end of the cosmic cycle, all beings merge into My material nature. At the beginning of the next creation, I manifest them again.”
Sanskrit
सर्वभूतानि कौन्तेय प्रकृतिं यान्ति मामिकाम् | कल्पक्षये पुनस्तानि कल्पादौ विसृजाम्यहम् ||
Transliteration
sarva-bhūtāni kaunteya prakṛtiṁ yānti māmikām kalpa-kṣaye punas tāni kalpādau visṛjāmy aham
Commentary
Creation is cyclical. At cosmic dissolution, all beings merge into God's material energy. At the next creation, they are manifested again—an eternal rhythm of manifestation and absorption.
