“O Dhananjaya, these actions do not bind Me. I remain neutral, seated as if unconcerned, unattached to these activities.”
Sanskrit
न च मां तानि कर्माणि निबध्नन्ति धनञ्जय | उदासीनवदासीनमसक्तं तेषु कर्मसु ||
Transliteration
na ca māṁ tāni karmāṇi nibadhnanti dhanañjaya udāsīna-vad āsīnam asaktaṁ teṣu karmasu
Commentary
Though Krishna creates, He remains unaffected—like a neutral witness. Unlike bound souls, He has no attachment to actions and their results. Divine action is free action.
